About Us

AIPPS is a non-profit organization advocating for doctors of Pakistani origin in Ireland. Over the past few years, we have actively worked on various platforms to promote the professional development and networking opportunities for Pakistani doctors working in Ireland. We have successfully achieved significant milestones to enhance the career progression and family life of non-EU doctors. Notable campaigns include the approval of #FastAccessStamp4 for non-EU doctors, resulting in Stamp 4 approvals after 2 years instead of the previous 5-year requirement. Additionally, we have championed the #EqualTrainingAccess campaign, ensuring that all NCHD holding General Division IMC registration can apply for BST – irrespective of their nationality, previously restricted to Trainee Specialist Division registration only.

AIPPS regularly organizes webinars that focus on educational activities, career development, and support for doctors. We provide a platform for logistical support at both local and national levels, assisting non-EU doctors in finding accommodation and offering advice on immigration or travel-related queries. We work in collaboration with multiple organisations in Ireland and the UK, such as the Pakistan Overseas Community (POC) Ireland and the National Overseas Doctors Family Association (NODFA) UK.
