The Embassy of Pakistan in Ireland organized a dignified ceremony to mark the 1st anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq” (Youm-e-Tashakur).
The delegation of Association of Irish Pakistani Physicians & Surgeons proudly attended this important event, representing the Pakistani medical community in Ireland. The delegation included Mr. Nauman Nabi (President), Dr. Javaid Saeed, Dr. Usman Leel, and Dr. Jibran Marwat, who are serving as Executive Council Members of the association. The participation reflects AIPPS’ continued commitment to community engagement, professional collaboration, and strengthening ties within the Irish-Pakistani community.
The event was attended by members of the Pakistani and Kashmiri diaspora, reflecting a strong sense of unity, solidarity, and national pride.
During the ceremony, messages from the President of Pakistan and the Prime Minister of Pakistan were read out, while a video message from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs was also shared with the audience.


The leadership messages paid tribute to the Armed Forces of Pakistan for their sacrifices and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to peace, sovereignty, and national resilience.
The Ambassador of Pakistan to Ireland, in her remarks, also paid tribute to the Armed Forces and highlighted Pakistan’s consistent and constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability. She emphasized diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions and supporting peaceful engagement in recent international developments.


She further stated that the commemoration of Marka-e-Haq is not only a remembrance of the past but also a step toward building a stronger, more united, and prosperous future for Pakistan.
A documentary highlighting various aspects of Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan al-Marsoos was also screened during the ceremony
